SEF operates out of a 206,000 square foot production facility that is fully equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to manufacture greenhouse structures and a wide variety of steel buildings. One of the many technologies we utilize in our shop is a robotic welding machine, primarily used for trusses in greenhouse construction.
How it Works
The robotic welders perform welding tasks automatically, guided by programmed instructions. It involves the use of robotic arms equipped with welding tools to join metal components together. The robots are programmed to follow precise paths and welding parameters, such as speed, arc length, and electrode angle.
The Benefits
Robotic welders streamline our workflow by automating the flipping and unloading of trusses, reducing physical strain on our workers. Not only does this automation alleviate labor, but it also accelerates our production pace, allowing us to manufacture more trusses per week than ever before, all while requiring fewer personnel.
Our Manufacturing Efforts
Incorporating robotic welding into our production processes not only exemplifies our commitment to innovation but also reinforces our dedication to delivering excellence in construction. By harnessing the precision and efficiency of robotic welders and other technologies in our shop, we ensure that every greenhouse structure and steel building leaving our facility meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and durability.
